Facilitation

Traditionally in workshop settings, a Facilitator sets expectations and helps participants reach a certain outcome during their time together. The Facilitator is a neutral party, meaning she takes no one particular side on any issue that comes up.

Keeping this neutrality in mind, I create active learning environments where workshop participants play the biggest role and the Facilitator (me) merely guides them along on their leadership journey. Rather than rely on traditional lectures, I use my role as Facilitator to ensure room for many diverse points of view throughout an entire session.

I use a number of different facilitation methods to help participants focus on their shared objectives and build a common language that can act as the bridge between their differences.

Methods and modalities vary based on the individual client’s needs and objectives.
